Larry Decklever

Founder and President

Larry Decklever has over forty years of combined experience as a programmer, business systems analyst, project manager, consultant, and business owner. He has acquired a broad knowledge and understanding of the software industry, having witnessed successive “generations” of computers, platforms, operating systems, development environments, software development processes, tools, and practitioners. In various roles he has obtained a breadth of experience in industries such as insurance, banking, government, manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, accounting, and e-business, in both domestic and international engagements. Having a strong appreciation for the importance of software quality, Larry’s vision and goal for starting BenchmarkQA back in 1987 was to deliver software quality assurance services that provide a high level of product quality, stability, and integrity to his clients’ products – a passion he still delivers on today. Larry has been a frequent guest interviewee for radio, business publications, and newspapers on software quality assurance topics and discussions.

Molly Decklever

Senior Vice President

With a comprehensive background in the people and process side of technology, Molly contributes her expertise in the areas of project management, process development, training, and IT staffing to our clients and employees. Hired in 2003 as director of business development, Molly was successful in developing strong client relationships by effectively identifying clients’ needs and providing strategic resource and technology solutions. With her promotion to vice president of operations in 2007 Molly developed and executed a strategic vision for BenchmarkQA’s – resulting in significant increased growth through innovative client-focused marketing and expanded training and consulting services. She was promoted to Sr. Vice President in 2010 and now provides strategic and operational leadership for the three lines of business – training, staffing, and consulting services.

Prior to BenchmarkQA, Molly held various positions in information technology with Nash Finch, including Manager of Leadership Development, IT Skills Development Manager, Business Process Manager – IT Project Office, and IT Training and Implementation Lead. Her background also includes experience in software training for Jeane Thorne, as a Development Associate with the Minnesota Private College Council Fund and Research Foundation, and as a research associate and curriculum assistant for The College of St. Catherine.

Warren McLeod

Vice President of Consulting Services

Warren McLeod has extensive expertise in the technical aspects of testing (performance testing, lifecycle management tools, automation, test environments, etc.) and a deep commitment to being a solution provider. He is SCRUM and Software Quality Assurance (CQSA) certified and has QA and IT experience in a broad range of industries including finance, insurance, brokerage, education and web start-ups. At BenchmarkQA, Warren has over-site for all BenchmarkQA consulting engagements and special projects. Prior to BenchmarkQA, McLeod served as QA practice director for another Twin Cities-based IT consultancy for six years. Among his many accomplishments, McLeod developed an enterprise-wide performance test strategy for the world’s largest airline merger, receiving accolades and awards for the significant value he provided. During his extensive career, McLeod has established successful and effective QA departments and testing framework for multiple companies.
